Univ. Prof. Dr. phil. Dipl.-Psychmed. Siegfried Gauggel
Siegfried Gauggel finished his diploma in Psychology at the University of Konstanz. He received his doctoral degree from the Free University of Berlin. During his stay in Berlin he was working as a clinical psychologist at a neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation hospital. 1997 he became a charted neuropsychologist by the German Society of Neuropsychology. 1993 he moved from Berlin to Marburg where he had a position as an assistant professor for clinical psychology at the Philipps-University. 1999 he received his "venia legendi" in psychology, especially clinical psychology and psychotherapy. During this year he also became a charted psychological psychologist. After one year as an assistant professor for medical psychology at the University Hospital of the RWTH Aachen he accepted a "call" to the Technical University of Chemnitz where he became Professor of Clinical Psychology. 2004 he left the Technical University of Chemnitz and moved to Aachen where he is now Professor of Medical Psychology at the University Hospital of the RWTH Aachen.
